Share Cornwall sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Nothing non-essential loads before you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit.

Your cookie choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key sc-cookie-consent. It records only the word “accepted” or “essential”. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to any server, and it identifies nobody. Clearing your browser data removes it and the banner returns.

If you choose Essential only, no third-party script runs on this site at all. If you choose Accept all, you permit measurement or similar third-party scripts to load here in future; none are running today.

The six “See what’s free” buttons are affiliate links. Share Cornwall may earn a commission on a booking made after you follow one. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not change the prices or availability you are shown.

Those links open a partner booking site in a new tab. From the moment you land there, that company’s own privacy policy and cookie notice apply, not this one. They will usually set their own cookies, including one that credits the referral, and Share Cornwall has no control over what they store. Read their notice if you want the detail.

Share Cornwall does not take bookings, hold reservations, handle payments, or receive your booking or payment details.

There is no account, no login and no form on this site, so there is nothing for you to submit. Share Cornwall does not build profiles and does not sell or share personal data.

Like any website, the hosting provider records standard server request logs, which can include an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested and your browser’s user-agent string. These are used for security and to keep the site running, on the legal basis of legitimate interests, and are not used to identify or track individuals.

An email sign-up is planned for this site. It is not live yet, so no email addresses are being collected. When it opens, it will ask for consent separately and this page will be updated first.

Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing, or withdraw consent. Email [email protected] and it will be dealt with within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
